AAAAAArrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!!

Having a minor setback. I can't stitch for a couple of days cos I sliced my thumb open in an awkward place n can't get a plaster to stick.

Have bought cutters to make my own aperture cards and sliced it on the blade when i took the cover off!! Blood everywhere. Not good!!

Nettie, sorry about the setback. Take care with the cut, they can get nasty very quickly. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Have some :cake: , you'll feel better. :D

Ooooh, nasty. Can you cover it with a bit of cotton lint and micropore tape? (I swear by micropore ever since I did the West Highland Way: held my feet together.)

Hope it gets better soon, Nettie -- meanwhile take advantage of the lovely weather and have a nice relaxing read in the garden (or on the balcony, or in the park)

Thanks all thumb has now started to heal so should be stitching quite quickly. I will be very careful next time I make a card myself.

The problem with getting close to finishing is I start to look around for the next project in fact I have narrowed it down to two already!!
