Sticking aida onto card

Post by Pinguxxx »

I make a fair few cards and gift tags etc but im finding that double sided sticky tape isn't sticking the aida to card very well. Seems ok at first but wouldn't take much for it to fall off. What do others who make cards etc use? Or any tips?
Thanks x

I just use double-sided tape or glue dots. Always works fine for me and holds everything securely.

I have used the double sided tape with no problems and a few times I have used a craft glue, especially on oddly shaped card openings on card kits from mags.

I read somewhere just recently that you can now get "scrapbook" double sided tape. Not seen any here yet but that might just be a little bit more sticky perhaps - or just a marketing ploy of course.

I usually use hot glue but you have to be careful as to much and it will ooze through.

I use prit stick to stick aida to card and sometimes a light application of pva glue to stick card to card.
I have found SOME double sided tape goes yellow with age.

Oh what am I doing wrong then??? Am I being to fussy in that the corners are sticking up from the card? Perhaps the middle bit is stuck ok? Thanks for responses and tips :)

Maybe it's your tape? Is some tape better than others? Not sure I've never tried to do this.
