Lovely work! In your previous pics the angled shots show the great effect the beads add to the design

Midge, I've drooled over that Chatelaine many times. :D

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking I'll get this framed in a gold-toned bamboo frame. Do you think it needs a mat and if so what color? I have the hardest time with the mat-or-not decision.

It's going in our bedroom, which has kind of an oriental theme.

This is purely just my taste, I can't explain why, but in this case, I'd say no mat. Maybe because it's such a sparkly little jewel all by itself.

That's a good point. Thank you. I hardly ever mat anything anyway.

Here it is framed. This is a cheap frame I got at the dollar store. I was going to get it custom framed in a bamboo frame but changed my mind. I can't decide if I'm going to hang it on the wall in this room (see the dark walls? The beads and bright colors look really good against them) or leave it on the dresser.

Anyway, I'm really pleased and delighted I actually finished this all the way!

I love it!!! Yay dollar store! I know exactly what you mean about dark walls making things look even better. I think I have some walls in my home painted the same color as yours.

Well done!
