Nacho's interesting t-shirt!

Post by nachosmiley »

Hi all,

Sorry not been hanging around much lately as I've been pretty busy, I promise I will catch up with everyones WIPs soon. But in the meantime I would like to share with you a little project I finished....

Image

This is the t-shirt that I have 'embellished' for my husband as a silly gift for our 2nd (cotton) wedding anniversary. The chemical is 1,2,3,4,5-pentachloro-6-nitrobenzene A.K.A. Fartox!! The latin underneath says 'He who smelt it, dealt it!' (Yes my husband is a great advocate of toilet humour!!)

Here it is a little closer

Image

I found the t-shirt material a bit tricky to stitch on as it is pretty stretchy but I don't think it looks too bad.

On the subject of wedding anniversarys, I thought you might like to see what I made my hubby for our 1st (paper) anniversary.

The front...

And a detail shot....

Yes it is made completely out of paper and this baby took me about three months to do but can't you tell I'm pretty proud of it  !!!

I have also been working on my other projects but I haven't got photos of them yet but will post those soon.

Thanks for looking :D

:applesauce: The paper bike is terrific and if your husband appreciates the t-shirt, that is what counts. The personal touch is always important.

The bike is amazing - that is such a clever way of celebrating your 1st anniversary. The T shirt is certainly different and made with love I am sure.
