Eeyore Christmas - Finished!! 26/08/11

Post by stacy87 »

I'm hoping to post pics of my progress from my cross-stitches as I myself progress, so for now, this is my thread for my smaller projects just now that I am doing to build up my skill before attempting a big project.

This is only my 4th cross-stitch that I have completed!

I am doing an eeyore Christmas cross-stitch, and yesterday I managed to get his hat finished.

Here is my progress from today:

Image

I hope to one day reach the standard of some of those I have seen on here!

:applesauce: He is very cute and very well done. You will soon be able to do anything you want to.
HAED stands for Heaven and Earth Designswhere you will find some of the most amazing designs. They are mostly, but not all, very large patterns. There are several designers that are popular among us, and even if we don't do some, we love seeing them. At least I do. I love your Eeyore. I have a t shirt with him that is almost worn out. Might ask about where you got your pattern.

Love your Eyeore Stacy you are going great with him.

Beware of HAED's - they seem to be addictive. My downfall might be the beautiful Chatelaines. Google them sometime as well as the links to the European Cross Stitch Company but keep your plastic card locked up.

Sally

PS Typing your name reminded me it my grand daughter Staci's 16th birthday today so must remember to phone her later.

Stacy,
you don't have to google Heaven and Earth Designs. Just click on the link in my post and it will take you to their website. Its the purplish looking letters. I am sorry I didn't let you know. I didn't know that those were links either when I joined the Forum so I should have known better. Just makes it a little bit easier for you to become an HAED addict like some of us. The Chatelaines that Sally mentioned are another downfall for many. I have managed to stay away from those right now and just admire them, like Mabel's Hardanger designs.

You're doing great! I'm pretty new to all this too, I've just been at it a couple of years, and my best advice is that when you have a desire to do something you've never done before, like back stitching, beading, specialty stitches, small finishings, etc, take a deep breath and then take the plunge! Kind people are here to help you. :D And the "Tips" section here is wonderfully helpful.

Thank you everyone :)

I'm not in work until Wednesday, and haven't been feeling well today, so just relaxed today and worked on my cross stitch again :)

Here is today's update:
