I finished the leaves (which I now love) and then started on the blue 'wind' element (which I hated). So I frogged out 3 lengths of blue thread and decided that the tree on it's own is just perfect.

And so ... my Autumn Tree is finished!!

The tree is just perfect the way it is! You've got me curious, though -- did you ever show us the wind elements which you dislike so?

No I never took a picture of it ... I disliked it that much! The blue colour was shown in my floss toss though:

The blue thread is gorgeous but I think you're right that the tree doesn't need the wind, your autumnal tree is perfection in itself!

I would love the wind in the scene if the branches on the leaves were "moving" as well... :thinks:

That blue is just NOT the right shades for your autumn tree. You were right to leave it out. Might have looked good in a VERY delicate grey/brown multi. As it is, your tree is great anyway! :applesauce: :applesauce:
