A lovely design, and the fabric and silk go so well together!

I really am enjoying stitching it up--making good progress on it without really trying to. The fabric is a silkweavers small piece, think it is 28 count lugana and is so very soft to work with. I just wish I had more of it, but at least I am finally putting it to good use!

I have lots of fabric that I love in my stash (thank you ebay!!) that I have yet to anything with (except get it out to admire and stroke it :D ). But its funny how one day you *know* that you will find the perfect project for it! Then you wish you bought more of it......... @rotfl:

hand-dyed fabrics often feel a lot softer than plain fabrics, I think -- would others agree? I love the feel of them.
