Disney's Belle SAL

Post by stacy87 »

I fell in love with this design when I seen it on eBay, and my little cousin just loves Belle! So I bought the kit from eBay and decides to do it for her Christmas :) I think she'll love it!

Here's what it will look like finished:

Started this today but haven't taken a pic, so will get one up shortly for an update.

Really looking forward to doing this one!

Oh its going to be pretty! I am doing a design VERY similar to this...it doesn't cut her off at the waist it keeps going to show the full skirt. I added blending filimant to her gloves and her shoulder strap things.

Very pretty though :) Can't wait to see it progress.

Thank you everyone - yes this will be a great one to do :)

Caitief - if you do find a design for her opening dress please do let me know - I love her opening dress :)

LastingAllure - this was the best one I could find of her - do you have a picture of the design you are doing? The full skirt would obviously be much better!

I can't find my pattern at the moment so I found this one online:

Image

My pattern came in a Disney Princess cross stitch calendar that was part of a British magazine a few years back. My grandma gave it to me because she knew I loved Disney...So I don't even know what issue it was...

If anyone is interested, the seller who I bought this kit from on eBay mow has a Belle in her blue dress for sale!! The item number is 310345334475

The sellers kits are lovely and are done using only full cross stitches - no backstitching :)

If im not supposed to post thi stuff, please just delete this post! I'm not sure what the rules are with this?
