:applesauce: That is going to be lovely. I have worked on black fabric and imagine that is quite a challenge. What a great gift this will be.

Fantastic stitching. :applesauce:
This will looking stunning when finished.
I know how you feel about stitching on black fabric, i have a Egyptian kit in my stash, which is to be stitched on a dark blue aida, and looking at it, im finding it hard to see the holes in the fabric, unless i hold it up to the light of our fish tank.

it's gorgeous. I know how it is to work on black, it's even worse doing black on black. I havn't done it in cross stitch but in crochet it's a pain, especially if you are trying to work at night time.

try putting one of those LED lights under it, should help you to see the holes better.

The work is beautiful. It makes the tiger so vibrant to be on the black.

Try putting something white (a towel or shirt) on your lap when you are stitching or as someone else has said a light under the fabric. It helps you find the holes easier.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

It is really fabulous and is going to look so striking when it is all finished. I am discovering how difficult it is to stitch on dark fabrics so I wish you luck with getting it finished in time.
