Hi from Poland

Post by anjami »

Hello everybody:)
I'm new here and I'm really glad I've found this forum:)
My name is Ania and I'm from Poland.
Currently I search for everything connected with Peter Rabbit, especially for cross stitch patterns for my little girl who will be with us in January 2012. Peter Rabbit isn't very popular in Poland, that's why I have problems in finding anything here...
I'll be glad for a helping hand:)

Once again Hello :sun:

Hello Ania and welcome to the forum. My best suggestion to find peter rabbit designs would be to try ebay--they usually have a great selection of cross stitch designs.

hello and welcome to the forum. Poland is on my list of places i want to travel to!

I think ebay would be the best place for Peter Rabbit patterns and kits.

Good luck in finding what you want for your little girl.

Any particular reason of placing Poland on your travelling list?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
You can find Beatrix Potter Cross Stitch Patterns & Kits on http://www.123stitch.com/" target="_blank
Just type "Beatrix Potter" or "Peter Rabbit " in Search and it will come right up.
Also If you Google "Peter Rabbit cross stitch" lots of other sites will come up too.
I used to love those stories as a child!

I have a great fascination for Eastern Europe for some reason. I love the old history and culture. I have been to Prague and Budapest. I want to do Poland, Berlin and Russia next.

I've been to Prague - it is unusual place. Absolutely beautiful and magic. We got engaged there in nice restaurant called "u Vladare".

I'm sure you'll find many interesting places in Poland - Cracow is beautiful, Wroclaw as well, but I think that all these small towns are prettier - Sandomierz (near Kielce) Kazimierz Dolny, and my hometown Cieszyn. But they are rather for one-day trip:)

Good luck with your travelling:)

Thanks for the welcome:)
I'll show my works for sure, they aren't anything big as I'm just a begginer. Had a looooooooong break in stitching so I'm doing rather small things.

And yes I can agree, people here are very friendly and helpful:) Good to be here:)

Both my grandmothers came from Poland, but I don't speak polish (my parents don't speak it either...) but maybe one day I will learn it ;-)
