:applesauce: great update Carole!! I love your color selections! I think I would stay away from bright yellows, but the variegated yellow greens sound very doable!!!

Your tree is looking excellent! :D I like all the green shades you have going, but I also think a yellow green could work. Great job :applesauce: :applesauce:

Your TOS looks fantastic! I'd stick with greens, maybe a yellow green that was more green than yellow. :P

Great restart! I love your colour choices. I'm thinking maybe a yellow green too, definitely the green theme is working really well.

Your TOS is looking fabulous Carole and love all the different greens. Maybe a greenish yellow would lighten it a bit.

As for Madam Laverne maybe she doesn;t like greens???

My last post until my computer is fixed. Maybe they will fix it tomorrow and I can bring it home. Fat chance. Anyway, first Laverne did help this time, though she really isn't as excited about this one. I think she likes the afghan fabric best.
Image
now a close up. I have finished through part 10. The star stitch was harder to get in the right spot for some reason, but I didn't have to pull out too many mistakes. Image
I'm thinking my next post may be a finished TOS. Then I have to decide about TGE. But, I'm tending towards trying some of Mabel's Hardanger designs first.

Thank you Karen. Tuesday I might run over to my daughter's to use her computer and take a peek at what ya'll are doing and I will be checking the forum on Thursday or Friday for sure because I'll be at my Stepmother's for the week-end (My sister and niece will be there too), so there will be computers aplenty for me to check in on everybody here. That is one reason I decided this would be a good week for them to fix it, since I wasn't going to be around much Thursday to Sunday anyway. I will post a picture of what I am concocting to take the mac down to the store. I don't have a very good case for it (its not a laptop) and I don't want to carry it cause I know I'll drop it. So I am putting it in a rolling suitcase (and it won't fit in an overhead bin suitcase cause its 21 inches. I am going to try, but don't think that will work.)
So I have stuffed half the suitcase with pillows to cushion it, will wrap it in towels. and you will probably here the laughter from the Apple Store when I get it there and take it out. But even though its relatively light, it is too heavey for me to carry for the 2 blocks or so that I have to walk from the parking garage.

Your tree is gorgeous and I am sooooo pleased you kept on with it. Good too that Laverne seems to like it more now.

Good luck with getting your computer to the store and getting it fixed quickly.

I too am away from Wednesday for 10 days, heading over to WA to be company for Emily over the holidays and her 10th birthday.
