This is going great, keep doing this when I get so fed up with changing threads constantly! This is going to be a present for a friend so not one to leave too long.

:applesauce: I love this one. What a lucky friend you have. It's amazing how with only one color there can be so much expression in a face. The eyes are fantastic.

That looks fantastic! You could almost leave it in black, like an ink drawing and not "colour" it in.

Yes I plan to leave it black, simple but effective especially in the right frame :)

 It's very cool how you did all the black first.. you could leave it like that it and it would look awesome

Well nearly finished the all black one and although it looks good it really aint great in a frame so disappointed really! so considering looking at a wall hanging or cushion where i dont need to frame it.

The motherhood cross stitch is in the frame shop and as usual my ideas to what would look nice differ from the actual person in the shop. Fortunately his eye for detail and experience means i am wrong and he is spot on.... it will look so amazing when framed cant wait (well apart from paying as it is a little on the expensive side) but really worth it!!
