Lovely work! I don't think I would be brave enough to cut into it, myself! I'd be scared of ruining an already lovely thing.  :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

And your dog piece is beautifully framed. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

:applesauce: :applesauce: This is so lovely and elegant. And I am so impressed that you cut the fabric after doing all the other work. I would be so scared and you did such a fantastic job. I can't wait to see what comes next if this is Part 1. WOW

It's finished!!!!!!!

The interior was really quick to stitch, seems such a waste of fabric! The only bit I hated was the Kreinik Japan thread that is used for the star and the rays on the candles. It was such a #@%&*# to work with, despite short threads and Thread Heaven. It is a thread that is covered with a metallic layer, so it is very difficult to run under other stiches on the back as it just comes apart! I muttered a few swear words whilst stitching that! On a more positive note, this piece has made me fall in love with Hardanger. I'm going to do some others, probably as a break during the next big piece that I do!

The Interior.

and finally, a close up of the Christmas tree through the window!

Now I have to figure out how to frame it!

My next project will be my first HAED. QS Cherished Moments by Sandra Kuck.

That is one impressive piece of Hardanger! :applesauce: :applesauce:

I don't know... between you, you and Mabel will have me at it as well! I keep not looking at her threads cos I'm so wanting to do some too, but I have so much other stuff to stitch...!! Argh!

And your next project is lovely.
