Inventorying

Post by sajehill »

Life has been rather upside down around here lately. My husband has not been feeling well for a while now & suddenly his symptoms started to get worse. I ended up taking him to the local ER 2 weeks ago after he blacked out. They admitted him & did tests although not one they should have done (idiots) & fluffed his blacking out episode off as "nothing." Yeah, I know ... we need to move. That's the plan. Anyway, he's been sort of okay for the past 2 weeks but his symptoms started escalating again 3 days ago. He won't go back to the local hospital (I don't blame him). His regular doctor who is 1-1/2 hours away has this test that the local hospital didn't do scheduled for him on the 21st & he says he will just wait for that. If anything happens in the meantime, like he blacks out again, he said to just take him to the hospital where his regular doctor is on staff.

Sorry ... didn't mean to go into all that ... just wanted to say I've been lying low, hanging around the house so I will be here should, Lord forbid, anything happen. I decided this morning to inventory my CS linens & patterns. I've gathered together quite a few things in the past 2 months or so since returning to the CS world & have already bought 2 of the same chart so I figured an inventory was a good idea. I was surprised to find I had amassed 44 projects-in-waiting in this brief amount of time & that's not including projects in books or magazines or kits! I have linen for many of these 44 projects but need to hunt down a dozen others. I wish someone would open a Linens R Us store that stocked every kind of linen imaginable. That would be so helpful!

It is a shame that some in the medical field have no compation. I hope the test that is scheduled will give the answers to you husbands troubles.

I hope that everything turns out well for you and your husband. Waiting for tests to be done and to get the results can be really hard on your nerves. Doing things like inventorying supples and repleneshing them can help pass the time surprisingly well. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
