Your TOS is gorgeous Carole. I have also succumbed and am planning on doing mine on 20 ct too, a biscuity sort of colour, so I am pleased to have seen yours. How many strands did you use ?

I just adore Laverne :kitty:

I used two. Mostly because I always use 2 it seems. Habit. I think 3 might have been a bit too thick as the coverage was generally okay. The only floss I used that wasn't regular DMC was the trunk which was satin and I liked the look and feel of it, but I think that might have done better with 3 strands. I chose the 20 ct so that I could more easily see the vertical and horizontal threads as that was what was giving me difficulty in the beginning in figuring out the placement of the stitches. And it worked. It does make for a large piece though because its like 10 count size in aida I guess. But that does make it easier to do the stitches.

Oh great, thanks for that, I was hoping that two would be okay. :D

I am wanting to use 20 because I think I could cope with that eye-sight wise, even if I have to wear my reading glasses. I'm sure I would struggle with higher counts and that would take away any enjoyment of doing it.

Hooray for your finish!! It looks beautiful! And I see why you chose green now since it matches Laverne's eyes. :applesauce: :applesauce:

Wonderful!! I love the different colours. I love that everyone's TOS are so different!

Love your cat! Nice to see that you have cat hairs on your sewing as well - I always have dog hairs or cat or even horse hairs on mine!!

Well done for sticking with it Carole. The result is stunning. :applesauce:  I must say I'm loving looking at everyone else's TOS, it's giving me inspiration as to how to do mine (which I haven't even started yet!) I think TGE will be finished before I start TOS!!

Love that. I brought the Thread to do mine at the Knitting and Stitching Show and I think I've decided on the fabric which I have in my stash so might just make a start in the next few days.
