Looking for a pattern or kit

Post by Nanna2Five »

Hi,

I am hoping I can find a little help here

I saw this at the State fair of Virginia and fell in love. I am looking for either the pattern or kit or who makes it.

This is a link to a photo http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x35 ... G_7235.jpg" target="_blank" target="_blank

Thank you so much!!!!

Had a long look for it - the sort of design looks very very familiar - I am wondering if it is a Donna Kooler design but I haven't found it yet and I may be way off track :thinks:

Thank you for looking! It may be hers? I was able to find and call the lady who made it. She is a sweet old lady she could not remember who made it, she lost a lot of her things in a fire :( including this pattern> She said it was in a booklet from maybe Michaels or AC Moore? That she got the pattern like 10 years ago. I may be out of luck LOL

I too, thought it looked familiar, at least the style (maybe in an old "Cross Stitch & Country Crafts" magazine or another one like that - Leisure Arts?). Had a long search on Yahoo! but didn't find it. I did see a LOT of other really nice patterns though. Might be worth it to check out E-bay - they had quite the selection there, too.
Good luck, I hope you find something you like! :)

Ok, it was the pattern I was thinking of. Still trying to locate my extra copy though. Until then..... the name of the pattern is "Birdhouse Sampler" by Robin Kingsley and it was in the August 1999 Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine.

Nanna2Five~ Wish I could say I have good news, but................ I know what happened to my other copy of that pattern now.... I passed it along in the grab bag and have no idea if anyone has chosen it for their own.... Sorry I couldn't help more. :(
