Dwitt's SAL

Post by dwitt »

Ok everyone.... I haven't posted any progress pics of what I have been working on for quite awhile. Currently I am working on a pattern that I purchased from http://www.patternsonline.com" target="_blank that is a map of Idaho for my hubby's christmas present. He knows what I am working on b/c I am HORRIBLE at keeping secrets.
Here is a link to what I am working on http://www.patternsonline.com/Patterns/Pat.aspx?P=7986" target="_blank
I promise to post a update pic of where I am currently at later today. I changed the fabric to 18 ct Dirty Aida. I am loving how this color make the pattern just pop!
I will also post some pics of what I have been working on and finished.

Reason I am doing Idaho is that my hubby grew up there in Boise.... gonna have to do Georgia too (bet you can't guess why!) and Florida b/c his parents have a condo in St. Augustine.... gonna have to add that one to the map

This is what I have been working on this year and finished:

Here is the last of the 3 chickens I did for my mom:
Image
Eeyore that I did for myself, needed to do something different and it stitched up super quick! (still needs to be ironed  )
Image
Tigger watercolor thats not quite finished b/c I ran out of green and needed a break from the backstitching  I am going to do a Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore that is the same type!

:applesauce: Wonderful projects. The farm scene is going to be one fantastic gift for your dad. Chickens and Pooh characters are great also. And the map is looking good. I like the fabric. It really is a great background for your map. You have been really busy and have great things to show for it. :applesauce:

Really lovely stitching. The Scenic Farm Scene is gorgeous. Your Idaho map is coming on well and your fabric colour is great.
