Great idea for your brothers Christmas present and you know he will really appreciate it. Like you say it might also be a good opportunity to make hime up a little kit, who knows he might even take to cross stitching if he knows he can stitch what he wants.

Wow - such a great job on these, I am a bit of an FF nut and although VI wasn't my absolute fave I love the characters!!

I feel sorry for you in terms of the size of source material, because the game is so old there really isn't much in the way of large pictures

I don't think that's a weird project in the least, but I'm biased! FFVI was one of my favourite games 'back in the day'. It is very nostalgic to see the stitched characters you're making!
