Way to go! She's delightful, I can't even see where you have left out some metallics and I stitched her!

They are so much fun to stitch aren't they, and so very gratifying when you finish!

It's nice to see her on a different background, it's to Joan's credit that her designs look so good on such a range of fabric.

Are you hooked? Fire goddess remains my favourite, the colours are brilliant.

Thanks for all of the wonderful feedback!! She definitely was a joy to stitch and I am very pleased with the end result--now to make sure I get her framed very soon

Meerkat, I used kreinik #4 braid, for the metallic thread--it's what the design actually called for and for a change I actually used what they asked for. I found it pretty easy to use--I did use Thread Heaven with it though and that really does help--especially as there were loads of french knots that were made with that braid!! I can actually say that I thoroughly enjoyed stitching her up and would do it again in a heartbeat. Well, maybe not right away but still she was a fun stitch.

Fizzbw, I didn't leave out a lot of the metallic, just the symbols--3 of them that were in the circle and a few of the outlining ones in the rust color of her skirt--I just felt it didn't really add that much to the overall effect and chose to only do the ones on the hem's border in those sections--if that makes sense!!

I definitely will be doing more of Joan Elliott very soon--I've recently ordered a chart pak from her site of 4 petite Christmas Angels, and aim to do at least a couple of those--the colors that she uses are divine!!!
