CrossStitcher Fantasy Special

Ok please bear with me here as I'm VERY unsure of the actual details, but I was just looking through the wanted ads in CrossStitcher magazine and saw the following ad

I'm looking for a CrossStitcher Fantasy Specail, about two years old. Should contain charts by Josh Kirby - Rincewind. Will pay all costs thankyou!

Anyways after reading the ad I'm now also seeking that magazine as I'm a massive fan of Josh's work and have a few prints from the Discworld seris when he was designing the covers (rip Josh) I would love to do a cross stitch Rincewind he's one of my favourite characters from the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett.

I'm willing to pay all costs donate a kidney give you one of my children pretty much anything really if anyone has this magazine that I can either borrow or buy anything really but I'd be the happiest person in the world if I could get hold of it

I think that you are referring to a magazine that I bought for my daughter (sorry but she will not part with it). If memory serves me right though it is more than 2 years ago, more like 3 or 4, but then again I may be barking up the wrong tree. Good Luck with finding one.

Awwww yuck, been up in the loft hunting found tooo many mags (why do i keep soooo many??) some cross stitchers dating back 94' but unfortunatly there was not any specials there. Sorry hope you find what your looking for

I just read this and looked up the comment in the latest CrossStitcher, wow I bet that was/is a good issue to get! Absolutely Discworld books!!! Love Rincewind and the Librarian (Oook! Oook! )

Thanks for the links Jilly and xstitchsue Might get one of those and stitch it for Mike (he's a big fan of Terry Pratchett and is where my love for Discworld novels came from! )

There was a company producing Discworld cross stitche kits. I haven't been able to find any at a reasonable price but they come up from time to time on ebay for a small fortune.
