It's so cute! Personally I think the hearts would be too much, I think just the one is enough.. The lettering looks fine in the coloring you chose.. I think it works the more if the backstitching isn't black.. you want the words to stand out of course, which black would do, but with the color you have it stands out and matches the colors of the design..a double win

It's so cute -- I would a dd a few hearts I think but not too many; the lettering looks fine to me, very clear but very much part of the design.

This is adorable! I vote for adding all of the hearts. That's just my taste -- I prefer complex visual detail.

I would add 3 or 4 hearts scattered on either side,not necessarily where the chart says.

I'd say add some hearts - make sure it's an odd number, or it will look too 'stagey'.

Three might be just right!
