Hello from New Zealand

Hi from gorgeous New Zealand. I signed up to this forum in May of last year but have just started posting tonight. I love stitching, I have just taken it back up again in the last 2 years since becoming a stay at home mum. I love looking through this site for wonderful ideas and work that others have done. I am currently working on a Dimensions kit Nativity christmas stocking for my son which I didnt get finished for christmas just gone so it WILL be done this year. I am also working on a sunset design called Magnificent Seven for my dad for his 70th birthday this year. I look forward to getting to know some of you on here and sharing in your wonderful work

Hi and Welcome from another Kiwi now living in Brisbane Australia - so glad you have started posting. I lived the first 70 years of my life in Christchurch and moved over here almost 6 years ago to be with family.

The Magnificent Seven kit sounds really lovely and that Christmas Stocking is a cutie too. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your WIPs.

I am in Hamilton Squirrel, although Hubby is a south islander. I am sure you must be very glad to be in sunny Brisbane and not the shaky south

Welcome to the forum. I was born in Hamilton 75 years ago but lived in Auckland until I was 57 when I moved to Australia to care for my grandsons when DIL went back to work. I'd love to see my years out back home but finances just won't allow that. Look forward to seeing pictures of your work
