Thanks for all your lovely comments about my Valentine post.

Thanks Tiffstitch for showing me the way to the other members' freebies, I never thought of the copyright thread.

My appt went well at hospital with the eye consultant. He was a very kind man (Very tactful too.Instead of saying "Well, you are in your fifties now " he said "You are over twenty one" when saying it is often age related)  and both my eyes had a thorough examination. He said it may take quite a few more weeks for me to adjust to my new extra big floaters, which I feel I am doing already, and to phone his dept. and come straight in, if I have persistant flashing lights for over two hours or vision loss at all.
Fingers :x: my eyes behave from now on :D
Thank you everyone who wished me luck

:x: :x: that you get used to those floaters and your seeing returns to normal. Sounds like things are getting better and I hope they stay that way.

So the floaters are here to stay??? That would annoy me! :x I hope it doesn't effect your stitching too much..

hope the floaters will become less and less noticeable with time (I realise they won't go away, but hopefully you'll get so used to them that most of the time you don't notice). And what a lovely tactful doctor :-)!

Glad to hear that your eye appt went well and you now know when to dash in to see them and when not - which is helpful to me too.

Floaters are a darned nuisance and I find that mine are more noticeable if I have been straining my eyes with too much computer work especially.

I had two good sessions this weekend  not much to do now. I have plans for this design which mean I won't be stitching the side borders. Will post a picture when I'm done :)
