Dumbo Afghan started 30/01/12 *update* 11th June pg7

Hi!

So I have already had 2 finishes since the new year started and have made a start on my 3rd project! That's so strange to say with it being the 4th Feb cos I usually take MONTHS to finish projects!

Well, I took my first two (wedding samplers) to be framed today - this is them completed but unframed :





and this is what project number 3 will hopefully look like



And finally this is where I was up to as of last night (3rd Feb) having started on Monday



I would say it is stitching up quickly, but there is a LOT of that one colour on Dumbo, and there are FIVE Dumbos, so I am really going to have to stick at this one to break through the boredom and get it finished in time for the baby (due end June)

Excellent finishes and good luck on your afghan. It looks like it should stitch up quickly. Just think of the sense of accomplishment every time you finish a Dumbo and that might keep you going!

That afghan is going to be so cute!!!! Good luck persevering through that one color. Maybe when it gets boring you could work on a star to spice it up a bit?

All of them are so sweet!!! I'll bet the Dumbo's will go fairly quick compared to the other two - less color changes & easier backstitching . I really do love the bunnies!
