HAED Mini Amethyst -Finally Received by my Sister YAY!

I can't believe I did the final stitches tonight.!!!!!!!!!!! And the last three stitches in the bottom right corner are single stitches. It ended with confetti! But lots of big blocks of color made it go faster. I will take a better picture tomorrow when there is daylight (the color is so wrong) and it has dried. I washed away the gridmarks and now it is hanging to dry. I am so excited. I was going to wait until tomorrow, but I WANT TO SHOW IT NOW. I did not finish alone. Miss Laverne was really stubborn tonight about wanting to sit between me and the cross stitch.

When it was done however she was beside herself with glee.

and refused to move so I could get a real picture. Actually the color is best in this photo. Much more like it looks in real life.

I am going to get a better pic tomorrow.
To the framers next week. It will probably be a little late for the birthday, but will be very close. And now to get moving on all the other WIPs

Finally got a good picture in daylight (even cloudy daylight is better) and I am pleased.
Going to spend the day dekitting and reorganizing stash with maybe a little bit of work on my SAL Bookend Kitties and some kitting up of "Tabbies". I didn't realize how much I don't like deadlines since I have been retired. Still I loved doing this one and learned a lot about tenting. and
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT. Couldn't have done it without you. Would never have heard of HAED, tenting and gridding without you.
