Thanks everyone! I promised myself I would do a little more of my HAED before I continued on with this... but I suppose sometimes you have just have to follow the stitchy bug to where it wants to go.. There might be another page finished in this sooner than 4 months

Apparently I have a new stitchy buddy! My daughter's cat who I'm not really fond of at the moment.. he's such a bully to my 16 year old cat and he's been keeping me up all hours of the night because of it.. And I can't even lock him out of our room.. he learned how to somehow open the door. He keeps waking me up at 5-6 am and I'm not too pleased all around because of it :x But for some reason every night he keeps wanting to lay on my lap like this:

Image

And he's too cute and keeps me warm so I allow it

Love your buddy.  Fun isn't it stitching with these 4 legged helpers. I had a cat once who could open doors. That is really annoying. But they do help keep your lap warm in the freezing cold of winter.

That's adorable!

But I'm so glad my two cats sleep on the sofa right behind my head instead of trying to be on top of me when I stitch. You see, I stitch on the floor, with my back against the couch, so I have my chart and scissors and needle case on the coffee table, a pillow on my lap and my bobbin boxes on the floor to my left. That way I watch TV from a little corner of the living room, and all my stitchy stuff is at arm's length.

Awwww he's adorable  I just couldn't let my cat do that...she would be clawing at the threads as I stitched...she's a little terror!
