floss conversion

Post by Giliane »

hi girls,

i was about to start a new pattern and the colour/symbol guide is in bucilla floss, however I usually use DMC floss. If I use this conversion chart http://www.cyberstitchers.com/Stitching ... cillaToDMC" target="_blank would I end up with the exact same colours? Because I checked it out but the names of the colours differ slightly and I want to make sure that they are exactly the same.

Thanks a million girls =)

actually, I am going to change my question . . . should I even convert the colours or not? I fear that maybe they won't be the exact same colours, especially since the conversion chart I used has 3 missing colours (i converted bucilla to dmc, but i found 3 bucilla colours missing) . . . so confused!

What happens when you convert DMC to Bucilla?
try this site http://www.plaidonline.com/eduPDF/BUC-D ... ERSION.pdf" target="_blank or http://www.needlepointers.com/ShowArtic ... NavID=1558" target="_blank
I really like the second site for my conversions :)
