How do i put wadding on my cross stitch
hi its the first time that i will ever put wadding on my pattern the things is i don't know how to do it
Re: How do i put wadding on my cross stitch
well, I guess it depends on what youre tying to make with your cross stitch.
What are you planning to do with it? make a cushion, a card etc? tell us that and perhaps we can give you some more tips

its so i can put it in a frame
Re: How do i put wadding on my cross stitch
well, you don't necessarily need wadding to frame a cross stitch. When framing mine I just stretch and lace it across a piece of acid free backing board.
the only time I've used wadding was when I made some little xmas cards. A friend gave me some wadding and I cut a small square for each card (about the size of the aperture in the card) then positioned my stitching on top and used double sided tape to hold the fabric in place
Maybe one of the other ladies or gentlemen will have some tips for padding the stitching for a framed piece
