Lovely design and start (2nd start) At least the kitties appreciate your work - though perhaps throwing up on it not the appreciation most desired :D

How come I missed this important update - really slack of me thats for sure.

You have made a great start and hopefully no more having to wash it or others. We had a cat once who used to do that frequently and she had no excuse as there was only her in the house.

Well done Carole. Looking forward to future updates.

Great start, Carole! :applesauce: :applesauce: Glad you managed to get Laverne's contribution out. Maybe she was trying to enhance it with a Jackson Pollock look?

ooohhh kitty cats i love it!!

Sorry bout the cat being ill over it! Im lucky the two of my three that are sick more often do it either on my door mat or the hard floor. If they are ill on the carpet its usually at the top of the stairs which isnt too bad to clear up and I usually hear them! Though I will learn a lesson and also make sure my stitching is put awa just in case!!

This is such a gorgeous design and just made for you.

Great start on it, apart from the wee mishap from Laverne. I've no idea how you're juggling that many HAEDs though. I'm struggling with seven smaller projects :D

Thank you Carole. (Do you get the same deja vu feeling that I do when I see that you have posted? There aren't that many that spell their name correctly like we do - with the "e" ). I have never ever in my life has so many projects at one time. I was always a one at a time stitcher before the forum. I work on the one that yells loudest mostly. I was going to just start this one and then move on, thinking that I would want more color, but I am really enjoying stitching it. There are a lot of colors but not as much confetti as I would have thought. At least most colors are several stitches if not blocks or strings. So I may stick with it (doing some of skitzzzzz's heart in between) until the HAED SAL for freebies. Then whichever one yells loudest or whichever one Laverne or Shirley want me to do will be the one I pick up next. And there are few waiting in the wings that want me to start on them, but they are going to just have to wait their turn.
(much easier to blame the project than to take responsibility myself  )

I have done a little more than a 1/4 page, maybe a third, and am reluctanly putting it aside to work on my Freebie SAL Bookend Kitties this week, then maybe a L*K and some LOTR and some on Amulet and Emmaline before I get back to it, though I have just loved stitching this one. Just enough confetti and then plenty of stitches that aren't blocks but are close enough that it takes me through a few columns to keep it from being boring or tedious. Makes you feel like there really is progress. Its easy enough that a cat nap on a lap works out nicely for Miss Priss:

She did want you all to see how it clearly must be a pattern that matches her colors perfectly

One day I will figure out how to make the sizes come out right.
Thank you for looking.

:applesauce: Yay for the pretty kitty! (both real and stitched :D )

Every time I see the pictures of your kitties I think of Remington, the cat I had growing up. She looked like yours do. She lived to the ripe old age of 20!

It looks great Carole! I'm surprised to hear that the confetti isn't that bad, it seems like it would be horrible looking at the picture! Laverne looks very happy! :)

thank you all. Dana, I was surprised so far also that there isn't a lot of single stitches (for me that means stitches more than 10 stitches apart I think. Still, as you can see by the bottom squares there were lots of places where I could stitch the whole way down a column with the thread on my needle and then go back to the top and start another color. Probably would be a good pattern for parking, if I parked. But it has been very good for the cross country stitching that seems more natural for me.

It's almost as if you're stitching a portrait as she poses :)

It is a bit like deja view to see your name sometimes, and of course you are correct in saying that we are the ones that spell our name right. The e-less ones are all wrong

I had no idea it was legal to work on more than one project at a time until I came here either. Bizarre, isn't it?
