O/T Yarnbombing

Post by SusanF »

Ok I know it's knitting, not cross stitch, but isn't this wonderful? I wish I lived close by and could see it for real :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I saw this in the paper and it is awesome - such a talented person created that! I'm in awe of anyone that can knit - but the detail in those characters is really something else!

That's incredible and such a lovely idea! Some of the captions made me groan though!

WOW and WOW again. Its hard to believe that no one knows who does this either. How someone can keep this a secret is amazing on its own. Wherever in your house could you hide that?

It's amazing they were able to wrap the scarf around the railings without anyone seeing them. Even in the middle of the night there are people about and taxi's etc.

A wonderful piece of art. Wow! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Wonderful!! I love things like that!! :applesauce: :applesauce:

The detail in those figures is fantastic!

There must be a whole army of winders and posers who creep out at night to festoon a whole pier secretly.

That's fantastic. I can't imagine the time it would have taken to do one of those figures, let alone that many

This is pretty cool. I thought it was going to be the story I saw on yahoo the other day about some one who knit a sock type thing and covered a tree. That story was just silly but this one actually is a neat idea.
