KG Chart

Post by mazzelsha »

I'm trying to convert a photo of my partners dog to a cross stitch chart for me to stitch as he sadly lost her last year & still misses her deeply. I've downloaded KG Chart LE & converted the picture & it looks good, although I'm having sizing issues - its currently at a huge 54 cm square!! Was wondering if anyone has any tips or knows how to enter the correct figures to get a finished pic at appx A4 size!!! Thanks in advance!

If you try it smaller does the quality look bad? I've had to make a photo 16"x16" (14 count) because any smaller it looked rubbish.

Yes, it looked really blocky & bad, but when I played with the settings it made it go squat!

Aye it's a pain :( Must admit I won't be doing any photos myself anymore because it's such a pain in the backside, even with a decent pattern maker. I believe someone on the forum can make patterns out of photos and they look fantastic, let me just get her name for you, maybe you could shoot her a PM?

Edit: skitzzzzz. Couldn't remember how many z's
