Snowman Finished!!!!!!

Post by Rose »

I wanted to do a snowman pattern and this one is just the right one for what I am planning. I am working this with waste canvas.

:applesauce: That is a great pattern and you have had a great start. It's going to be so much fun stitching that. I have never used waste canvass. Is it more difficult to stitch on than fabric?

yay, rose is stitching a snowman piece

it's so cute!!!

are you stitching it on a piece of clothing? is that why you need the waste canvass? i used it once and couldn't get the hang of it.

i just love your design ...

I use waste canvas alot and I just love it. The very first project I ever did was on waste canvas and over the years I keep going back to it.(All the angels for my daughter were waste canvas) I find it very easy to use. I use a frame and always try to keep it very tight in the q-snap or hoop.

I am stitching it on a canvas bag.

That is so precious and gorgeous Rose. Delighted to know you are back on with your snowmen. A good start too. Don't envy you stitching on canvas though.

Very cute Rose! I had a miserable first experience with waste canvas, but I may try it again someday. Your pieces always look so good!

Cute! :)

I've never worked with waste canvas, although I know how it works. I should think it's quite tricky pulling the threads of the canvas out afterwards?

Hooray for snowmen! You're reminding me to order some more waste canvas. I last used mine 4 years ago and have since organized it away from myself somewhere.

That is going to be so pretty. I've used waste canvas but usaully to work something on a sweatshirt or quilt blocks.

That bag is going to be gorgeous. How will you ever give it away.
The stitching looks very neat, when I tried waste canvas my work looked a bit scruffy. You'll have to give us all a masterclass.
