HAED Mini Amethyst -Finally Received by my Sister YAY!

Picked up the framed piece today. Tried to get a picture without the flash but it wouldn't so hopefully you still can get an idea of how it looks. Won't be mailed to my sister until after she returns from visiting my niece at Oxford so I have plenty of time to get it to her. The frame is actually silver not black.

I think it looks good. But I am pretty sure that even though I love the speed of tent stitching, unless I can figure out how to grid 28 ct, I'm probably not going to do it again because I didn't love the coverage.

My final post on this. Just wanted to thank you all again for encouraging me on this project. My sister got back from her vacation (She loved Oxford so much and my niece wants to go back there for graduate school now as she loves it so much) Sunday and got her framed very late birthday present yesterday. And loved it. And said that the others in her office couldn't believe that I had actually stitched it. Me neither. I am going to have to learn to grid 28 ct fabric so I can do more tent stitching, though I am thinking of trying 3 over 1 on 25 ct to see if it gives better coverage. I love full crosses but OMG the speed of tenting is amazing. Anyway, UPS got it there when they said they would so I have no complaints.
