I just read this on our local newspaper's website. I hadn't realized that he was local to me here in the Bay Area or that he was so young! RIP to Mr Kinkade and my condolences to his friends and family. :(

He's one of my favorite artists... am saddened by his death... have been collecting his designs turned into cross stitch patterns.... my condolences to his family & loved ones...

This is such sad news!! His artwork was so beautiful. I have always wanted to stitch one of beautiful works of art. I will need to find one to do now. I couldn't believe he was only 54.....

Well I've never been a fan of his work personally, but it is sad that someone so young died and I'm sure many people will miss him.
