I just read this on our local newspaper's website. I hadn't realized that he was local to me here in the Bay Area or that he was so young! RIP to Mr Kinkade and my condolences to his friends and family.

He's one of my favorite artists... am saddened by his death... have been collecting his designs turned into cross stitch patterns.... my condolences to his family & loved ones...

This is such sad news!! His artwork was so beautiful. I have always wanted to stitch one of beautiful works of art. I will need to find one to do now. I couldn't believe he was only 54.....

Well I've never been a fan of his work personally, but it is sad that someone so young died and I'm sure many people will miss him.
