Wow - they are both amazing!
Fallen in love with the doggy one though - what a gorgeous design. Who designed the pattern?

The pattern was designed by Fiona Jude - she does a lovely range of Australian animals, birds, scenery etc called Country Threads.
I
her work (which is probably pretty obvious seeing I own about 50 of the kits and have finished a number of them already) as it is really easy to do and there is usually not a lot of backstitch - just enough to highlight/separate features.

I have that same Angel pattern
