Just Finished a TARDIS in 3D

Post by rhaben »

I've been working on this since September. My first attempt was too large, complicated and not enough contrast. So I remade the pattern and started over and finally finished it. It turned out really well and the size is perfect for the action figures!

I would LOVE to find a journal/diary/blank book that looks like River's....I never knew of Dr. Who until just a year or so ago (& am having a LOT of fun, catching up on them all on Netflix)

Your call-box really is SMASHING! I  it! (to be redundant....)

Yes, I designed it. I did it for my shops on Etsy and ArtFire. As far as who gets this one, it is MINE!!!! I'm a huge fan of the doctor. If you look at my shops there you'll see what I mean.

Robin, I really, really, REALLY  "when Sci-Fi shows collide"! Now I'll have to learn how to buy off of Etsy & add it to my stash (once dh gives me my stash allowance!)

Thanks!

Diana, to buy from Etsy, you have to join first. If you would rather not join a site, use ArtFire. Glad you like the pattern :D

What fun :applesauce: :applesauce: Did you use the plastic canvas or fabric with boards to make it 3D?

Wow! that is amazing! And thank you for the link to your stores.. I'll have to wait 'til I'm working again, but I'm very interested in some of your patterns.

Lessa54, I used 14 count aida. To give the fabric a bit of stiffness, I ironed pellon to the back of the stitching. Also instead of using polyfluff to stuff the whole thing, I used a block of foam rubber.

Thank you all for the complements!
