Someone asked to see the entire bag. I got the tote at Michaels they are a nice heavy canvas and will be perfect for grocery shopping. They have a few sizes and this one is the large tote.

What a "cool" idea!

I've been using the store's recycle bags (that I paid $1 each for) and they don't hold up well at all (but it might help if the bag-boys would listen & NOT load 'em up so heavy).

But... heavy canvas? How on earth did you get the needle through?

When I work on these bags I have to use the finger tip guards that I found in the quilting section at Joann's and then I put a band-aid over top that to protect the fingers during stitching and I use a size 26 needle.
