Great start. I love the colors. and I'm so glad that I don't have to watch Sat morning children's shows any more. I also had a number of video tapes and later dvds for the grandchildren. All they ever wanted was one Barney tape. Over and over. In self defense when the 5th or 6th grandchild arrived, I gave that tape to my son and said play this one at your house. I hope Mr Men is better than Barney!

That's great progress . The Mr. Men are great fun to stitch aren't they? I've already done the alphabet sampler and the underwater birth sampler and am now on the month sampler. My aim is to get it finished by the end of the year. I just love your bus one!!!
Carole, we have Mr. Men AND Barney in our house, although they are getting a bit older now, so less of the baby t.v. and more of the childrens t.v. (for those in the UK we're now on CBBC rather than cbeebies!! Hurrah!!!!! Some of those preschool shows are decidedly weird!! )

aww I adore the Mr.Men books - reminds me of my granny - as she used to bring those and thomas the tank engine books to us from England when we were little (back before you could get either series state side)
love these designs
lovely stitching - lucky Charlie to have such a clever mum
It's looking great so far!!! I never knew they had a show... They were characters in our mall's play area and they had a few books of them there... You learn something new every day!

Thanks everyone for your comments and encouragement, I am definitely going to need some cheering on....though I am enjoying this a lot, I have been limited in stitching time with school holidays!!
Wish we could have picked up a set of books for Charlie for only £2, what a bargain. We got the box set for £40 which was about half the price of the individual books and that is a good saving..but TWO POUND!!!
They have definitely been a hit with Charlie. He gets one or two a week, and he enjoys reading the names on the back of the book to see who is next
I love this one. The colors are so bright and pretty. Keep posting updates if that encourages you to keep at it. And I love to see them.
