:applesauce: You are making progress and I did look at your quilts and it is very understandable why you had less time for this piece. But progress is progress. Looking good.

AAAAARRRRGGGGG!!!!!!! OMG I don't know how to put this.....I am a blithering idiot. I was close to finishing the first page(a long time I know, thats another story) when I decided it would be a good idea to fill in the gaps. Along the way I noticed a few stitches had only one arm,ok so I'll fill those in too. This is where I'm looking for the main colour on this page, the one I'd done first and most of......and I find to my horror its the WRONG COLOUR!!!!!!! I could cry,I have spent all afternoon trying to unpick, but its not working as other colours are caught up behind it and other colours are also coming away. I have also just found that I'm tugging at the fabric too. I tried to see if I could turn fabric round and start again, but there won't be enough space. Do I carry on trying to unpick the whole lot,or do I give up and purchase more fabric? I'm in desperate need of help as I'm struggling with this anyway :(xx

:( I am going through something a little similar and am having to make the decision about starting over. I tried to :ribbit: the parts I wanted to redo and it isn't going to work. I've done 6+ pages so I do know how you feel. I am going to restart mine, just deciding exactly how I want to do it. As hard as it is to restart, if you can't fix it and you want to do this one, and it is a beautiful design for a very very good reason, I would get more fabric and start over. Sounds awful but it also sounds like you don't have a choice, unless you can stitch over the wrong colors? Depending on how many stitches you have to fix, that might work. I've done that occasionally  and though it isn't the best option, other than restarting I can't think of another option.

That is so frustrating!!!

My advice would be to get more fabric and start fresh; that sounds like a lot to rip out. :anotherfrog:

It may help to stitch something else for a break, and then come back to this.

Good luck with whatever you decide! :shamrock:

Yes Carole,I saw your post after I put mine on. I really feel for you though, you've done so much! I think it would put me off altogether :( Thanks also Cayenne Cat,I think I will get more fabric as the more I try to unpick the more angry I get with myself. It just seems to be the icing on the cake for me at the moment, nothing is going right, but tomorrow is another day and I will get some more fabric and start again or else I might not... Good luck with yours Carole xx

When I'm frogging my HAEDs, I just clip the stitches on the front and push the ends through to the back. I don't try to actually remove the thread altogether. Makes the back a bit messy but the front is fine and that's all I really worry about... If you don't have too much to frog, you might try that and see if it works for you. Good luck with whatever you decide!
