Thanks both. I got the xs out a couple days ago and got a little bit done

Liz - I think the stars are worse than the all-one-colour! They're so fiddly :/
I know it'll be worth it in the end tho

Glad to hear that you are settling in and even able to get the cross stitch out. Now it probably feels like home. I'm looking forward to seeing Dumbo again.

slow progress on this as I haven't done much at all on it despite the short timeframe I have to complete it (2 weeks today if baby is on time)

This is the lower right dumbo and I still have the lower left dumbo, 3 squares of stars and the baby's details to stitch!

HELP!!!

Progress is progress and this Dumbo is adorable too. And if you get a chance to get more stitching in, it will move quickly. Come back here if you need a nudge or two.

I have NOT enjoyed the back stitch on this particular Dumbo. It seems like it has taken forever!

I think because I have such a tight deadline I have suddenly started to panic - especially since I am having to get someone else to finish the blanket for me once I am finished - and the baby is due a week on Monday! (25th)
