PM Pattern grid?

I'm using PM Pattern for my charting needs, and I really can't afford to print large patterns out, so I opted for changing the chart into pdf to put into my iPod. However, when I export the image, the finished chart has no number on it (you know, coordinates for the stitches?) and manually using GIMP to type them in is driving me crazy. Can anyone help me with this? Please and thank you all
