My name is Tammy, and I have been stitching over 14 years. My husband, my son, and myself live in a rural part of NJ, but I was born and raised in New Orleans. I love to read--in fact, if my son is hogging the tv, I turn on the text-to-speech on my kindle, and stitch to that. I love multi-tasking! I'm always looking to grow as a stitcher, and hope to learn lots of good things from you guys!
My current WIP is "Southern Social", and it's a Dimensions Gold piece. I hope to have it finished in a few weeks!
Hi Tammy and Welcome, its great to have you on board. I am sure you will learn all sorts of new ideas - I know I have - and of course all the ways and temptations to gather more stash and more projects that make living until well over a hundred years a necessity.

Hello and welcome from South Carolina. A lot of us listen to audiobooks when we stitch. I do if I'm not watching DVDs . We love to share ideas and I'm always learning something new. We encourage and motivate and enable you in gathering stash as well. We love to look at pictures of each other's work so I hope you will post some of yours also. southern Social sounds interesting.

Welcome from Cheshire.
You asked how I liked Lanarte designs, love them, very pretty, delicate, fine linen and single threads.
I am collecting one from framers tomorrow, keeping fingers crossed.
Look forward to seeing your
Hello Tammy and welcome from Alberta, Canada. I've seen that dimensions kit that you're working on and it's very nice. I love to watch tv shows and movies when in stitching. But it has to be a movie I've watched before otherwise I barely get two stitches done. I find my best is done though when it's perfectly silent. But we all know how rarely that happens. Lol.
