Hi.
I have just collected this crosstitch from the framers, I started it in 1989 finished it 2012, although she was hiding in the cupboard for a few years!
That is lovely. Doesn't matter how long it took, it was worth the wait.

How could you leave such a gorgeous piece of work in hiding for so long?? She is beautifully stitched and that frame and mount are just right for it too. Well done.

Lovely piece and lovely framing - the simplicity of the frame really sets the design off brilliantly.

You know it's not the amount of time it takes to finish a piece that's important, it's the journey you take whilst you stitch it....I bet this piece has been through lots of events in your life until it was finished and framed...and now it's done it can go on your wall and remind you of all the lovely things that have happened since it was started all those years ago!
Then again I'm just a sentimental fool that takes a long time to finish a piece.....so I may just be justifying my snails pace
