Well ordered the thread needed for the second of these and it arrived but I really have no idea what i've done with it!!!

I saw it the day I had a stash sort out but what I did with it I have no idea!!!!

If you are anything like me you put it in a safe place. My safe places are often very safe, even from me . Since I find things that were "lost" when looking for something else, I'm sure the thread will show up. Usually, the best way for me is to retrace my steps as much as I can. If that doesn't work then I stop looking and thinking about it so my head clears. And if that doesn't work and its something I need, I get it again and then the missing whatever shows up right away.

I usually find stuff in the place where "it definitely isn't"...

As in I'll say to myself "well it definitely won't be in there so I won't check" then when I run out of places to check, I go back to that place just to be thorough and then there it is!

I've checked all the stitchy places I would have put it. Think I'm going to have one more check and then re-order. The thing in the back of my mind is that I threw a lot of envelopes and stuff away that day so there is the possibility I threw it out!!!

Oh how annoying......you do realize that the minute you reorder then you will find the stuff you lost.

Found the envelope in the waiting to be shredded draw and thankfully it looks like I didn't chuck it out!!!

As I really didn't enjoy doing the first one and really don't want to do it again beginning to think I deliberately hid it from myself!!!!

Did you find it in the last place you looked? I've come to realize that is where EVERYTHING I've lost is...now if I could just jump to that last place to look....

I guess I should say I'm glad you found it. The sooner you start this one, the faster you will be done with it. I'm careful,these days as to what I say I will stitch for others, as I've been in your shoes a few times. I probably would do the same as you, but hope I don't have to. Too many things I want to stitch. But you will feel really great when you can give this last one to her. You are a very good friend.

Because I really don't want to do it I probably haven't looked very hard!!! I knew putting it on here would force me to go look which is why I did it!!!

I've been trying to convince my mum that she'd like to do it for me but she's not that daft!!!! Going to do it every other night and the afghan every other night and see how I get on. It would almost help if the friend gave me a deadline!!!
