GK -Madeline after prayer updated 4th November

I have started my first Golden kite today. It is called Madeline after prayer and it will measure 99cm x 127cm :shock: I am stitching it on 18ct aida and it has 195 pages.

Also stunningly beautiful. Just look at the detail in it. And the colours. Wow. Can't wait to see it progress :)

This is going to be absolutely gorgeous. Wow 195 pages would just do me in. I thought mine was bad with 40 pages. This will look so lovely when it's finished.

This is rather different and I love it, 198 pages? that has to be the most in any chart or can somebody top that or know of a bigger one? Wow this is going to be great to watch grow. What do you think of GK charts? I am tempted?

The charts are really good. They are large charts on lots of pages rather than smaller on less which is why there are so many pages. The one I'm using is larger than the large format HAED chart which is good because hopefully that means i can finish a page quicker. I am loving this one!

This is going to be beautiful. I have been becoming more and more interested in trying a GK of my own, but they're so expensive I won't buy one until I find a design I just love.

Really pleased you've started this one Vanessa. The design is just beautiful :wub: :wub: . 195 pages is rather a lot :shock: but if there are fewer stitches per page, then you should be able to get them done quicker :wink:

That's a stunning project! And 195 pages! My Haeds have 64 pages and I thought that was a lot... But it's good to hear that the pages are a large format, I am struggling with the regular format from Haed ;-) But this makes GK even more tempting for me ;-)
