blooming tanto

Post by Angel »

Last Christmas my mum bought me a tanto thread organiser which was such a fantastic gift and it really helped with my threads, especially when I began work on "through a mother's eyes." However, the elastic bands that came with it eventually snapped. So I put some more on and they snapped too, so I put some more on and those have just snapped too. The problem is, the elastic bands don't hold the threads particularly well and everytime they snap my threads get tangled and unhooked, and they constantly fall off even when the band's are on.

So, does anyone else have a tanto thread organiser? How do you keep your threads in place?

I don't have one, and I don't know if this helps any at all but what about those cloth rubber bands that people use for their hair. Shouldn't fray your floss and aren't as easy to snap. If this is not at all applicable please ignore, I have never seen a tanto in person so don't know what size you would need?!
