My latest WIP is a green-winged amazon done as a memorial for dh's grandmother. She owned parrots all of his life up until she got too sick. She passed away a few weeks before mother's day.
I'm taking pictures of my progress this evening, but this is what it will look like once I'm done. He is being stitched on 14 ct. light blue Aida.

He's wonderful, and I think the blue background will really set him off well! (Don't you just love all the pretty coloured fabrics and how they can enhance a design? I think a soft blue is often particularly effective.)

I absolutely love these cuties, have a few ornaments to prove. I love the colours of this project. Colours are what usually draws me to a design-I am definitely looking out for some designs in the future.

It's looking good Lynn. I'd like to work with some nice bright colours - everything I'm doing is very pastel-ly at the moment.
