Cross Stitch Guild iPhone App

Post by geekishly »

Does anyone have and use this app? It's $6.99 in the app store, but there's only one old review for it on there. Chances are the glitch the review talks about has been fixed, but with no other reviews since then, it's hard to say. The app looks like it's just what I need to keep track of everything, but I don't want to spend that much money on it if the glitch hasn't been fixed in the updates that have happened since that one review was left.

This app looks interesting! I'd definitely get it if it was $1.99, maybe even 2.99 but I think I'll hold off until it gets more reviews. If you do decide to get it, let us know what you think of it :)

Yeah, if it was $3 or less, I'd just go for it. Oh well. it was worth asking anyway. XD

I don't know what the app you are speaking of is, but I have one called. Xfloss it keeps up with your floss stash for you and has a shopping list function and a project manager. I think it was like0.99 I think it is an okay app not a must have. but i don't always keep my ipod on me is why.

I also have XFloss and use it to keep track of my inventory which is really helpful. Ther are also versions for other than DMC threads which one of the women in my cross stitch group has. All are .99. I always have my iPod with me since I listen to audiobooks in the car too so I keep it pretty current. I don't know the app you asked about.

I've got a paper shopper's checklist to keep track of what floss I have and I keep it in my wallet. But the app I'm talking about also lets you keep track of your UFOs, fabrics, kits, flosses, books and a few other things. So if the glitch has been fixed, it's well worth the price. It's just that the review said that it wasn't saving their info for things other than the floss inventory. But the app has been updated since that review was left. so I'm just hoping that maybe someone has it and can say if the glitch has been fixed.

I use this app on our iPad2. I got the app in January and haven't had any problems with it at all. It has saved all my books, floss and UFO entries with no problems.

The one annoying thing with the UFO section is that the start and end date only inputs the day, month and time NOT the year. So I've just added the approximate date I started my UFO's in the notes section.
