Hello, new stitcher here (Moscow, RU)

Hi, I'm Olga, I've been stitching for almost a week and I guess I'm hooked.
I love different things: science fiction, spaceships and so on, coffee, music, learning languages (English and Spanish so far with English in a better shape), riding a bicycle, knitting and crochet (I guess Russia doesn't put a lot of difference between the two, they are regarded more as a different technique, not a different craft).
If you could see my office desk, you'd find a couple of plushies - a bear and a sheep, the Tardis mug, R2D2 and C3PO, flamenco dancing fan, and a tiny knitted beanie hat put on the webcam.
I'm not sure if I could be of service to you, but if I can, I usually help.

the 1st project is already finished. I don't have a "nice" picture yet, but here is the one I took as soon as cut the floss off:

Thank you all for the kind welcome!
This design is not mine actually. I was inspired by other stitcher's work which google showed me when I asked for some "star trek cross stitch pattern" and switched to image search.

And today I've seen another picture which may be an inspiration: link to the author's page. (or google "Things We Say Today And Owe To Shakespeare"). I think this might look great on a library wall stitched in black. It's a pity I don't have necessary skills to do it (yet), and also that I can't think of a library here which would like to hang it on their wall.

Nice picture, Diana, thanks for sharing! Have you seen the "Doctor Hoo" tee? Also a good one.
I keep salted pretzels in that mug as I found it not very comfortable to drink from. But the pretzels are safe there. )

No, Olga, I've never seen that one, but it's a HOOT....(sorry, I just HAD to do that!)

Pretzels wouldn't last long enough to be IN a cup (or any other vessel, for that matter.)
