I'm presuming that Polly is the recipient...if so she is one lucky poochy!! I have often thought about doing a stocking myself...the bit that scares me though is the finishing....cross stitching I can do....normal sewing and me don't get along so great though!!

Yes she certainly is; I plan to do 3 stockings in total (already have the kits) but as long as this one is done for this Christmas ill be happy. The finishing does scare me a bit but I know my way around a sewing machine fairly well so hopefully my finishing does justice to the stitching

I have thought about doing this pattern! Just love the realistic look of it. Great work so far! And I do the bs as I work on projects as well.

Its been awhile since I have had an update on this one as I have been working on my HAED SK but I have started a very informal rotation and have now been back on my stocking for a week. It stitches up so quickly compared to the HAED. I am not 100% happy with the spacing of my lettering but am happy enough to leave it and move onto the bottom of the stocking.

That looks absolutely stunning and you have done so much of it already. I think the lettering is good and easy to see as well as being bright and Christmasy.
